Vancouver – Work and Play
I wanted to share my photos and videos from my latest work trip to Vancouver in early July. I went to the Human Computer Interaction conference to speak and promote the latest version of the game we are working on. I was so happy to have some close friend/colleagues while there to also explore.
We went to some of the primary hot spots in Vancouver including Grandville Island, Gastown, Robson Street, and Stanley Park. We went on the Suspension bridge, which made my adrenaline rush, but it was a lot of fun. I took a bike ride all around Stanley park (I literally haven’t ridden a bike since I was a teenager, so after doing so I now want to get a bike so I can hit up some of the trails in my county ha!), and we took a quick trip up to the Sky to Sea Gondola in Squamish. Squamish was amazingly beautiful. We took a little hike around the mountain to check out the views, as well as walk across a higher suspension bridge, and I got to hang out with a good friend who just moved out there. We visited numerous breweries and ate so much delicious food. This area of Canada is gorgeous, I cannot recommend it enough, especially if you love the outdoors. There is a lot of culture and warmth (not the weather..although the weather was surprisingly mild).
